We love experiencing the Sunday gathering and discussing Chad's message on Thursday night, but we are also interested in how we live that out the rest of the week. We are committed to walking through the valleys together and we are definitely willing to celebrate the victories. We desire to first pursue Jesus Christ and His word as a way to challenge each other towards spiritual growth and maturity. Let's face it, our lives are busy and often complicated but one thing is for certain: together is always better. Each week we value the opportunity to be vulnerable about our lives and pray together, have great discussion, be challenged, and simply enjoy community.

Pantano & Speedway, and Prudence & Golf Links Wednesdays @ 6:30 pmWe are a group of people who love to grow and challenge one another to move closer to knowing and understanding who Christ is in our lives. We weave ourselves into each others lives to reach hearts and develop the full sense of how God designed community. Living life together, discussing how God is moving through Chad's messages from Sunday, and pursuing righteous change in our lives are only the beginning to how we come alongside one another to support, love and truly invest in others. At community group we pray together, laugh together, share how God is moving in our lives, and just spend time living in conviviality.

Golf Links & Kolb Thursdays @ 6:00 pmWe are a community group that has placed strong value in living life together in addition to discussing what we are learning at Second Mile. This means that we develop relationships and spend time with each other outside of our Thursday night community groups and Sunday church gatherings. We seek to make biblical community a way of life, not just something we do once or twice a week. This way of life has allowed us to grow in encouragement and sacrificial serving of each other. Our strong desire is that we continue to grow in these skills so that they might strengthen our relationships within our community and show Jesus to those around us. We work on consistency with each other in relationships, but many members of our group have an array of unusual and changing schedules, and we are understanding and flexible with each other's time. We thrive on having good friends from every walk of life, creative pursuits, spontaneous dinners, meaningful conversation, and laughing with our kids. We hope to provide a safe place where we intentionally and patiently practice the ‘one-anothers’ of Scripture. Striving to love one another in truth, we celebrate the victories and help each other through the difficulties. As a community built around a shared love for Jesus, we seek a richer integration of God’s word into all areas of our lives.

We are a new community group excited to join hands with fellow transplants, Tucson natives, and beyond. We value depth, prayer, and commitment to each other, the Church, and most importantly to God. We love the depth, truth, and vulnerability of the Second Mile community and we hope to be a bridge of connection for people who live on the northwest side of town. We are passionate about diving into the truth of scripture and bringing multiple generations together to experience the rhythms of life as a family. Recognizing the value of living all of life through community, we seek to be intentional with each other to become more like Christ.
